I can’t seem to get all my project photos uploaded from my real camera in time to do a “house” post… so I’ll wrap up the week (a very crazy week) with some of my Instagrams. I’ll get back on track during the 4th of July holiday. I’m off for a few days and can finally catch up.
Yes, I know, I know… but it’s NEW and FUN and I’m enjoying my new phone so it’s inevitable that this would happen. You knew it was coming!!

That cat is so funny and sweet! She’s my baby for sure. I can’t sit down without her right on me. She has a funny meow that just makes my day. I wish she ate tomatoes… it would really help me out.

HA HA! Globey – thats great. Yes, it is solar powered. We collect the globes from estate sales and then set them on top of solar lights in the yard. We just got one so big the other day I can barely get my arms around it. (too much?) ha!

Chimney work: check. Two different guys came for two different parts of the project. One of them was Kurt Vonnegut. I’m serious: mustache, same hair, and spitting image of his face. That made me feel like we were in very good hands. :)

I’ve been trying to avoid the instagram insanity but thank you, now I have to go and get sucked in after seeing these. Sigh. I worship the back of your house.
I tend to resist this type of insanity (perfect word!) … but just had no will power whatsoever when it came to those lovely instagram filters. They make your pics look so cool…. even when they’re not. HA! Thanks for the sweet words. I’m not really worshipping it right now… we have started staining the back of the house so I’m up on scaffolding in the 100 degree weather. (HELP, I’m melting) It will be worth it, though…. it needs some serious TLC! Thanks for looking!

YAY! When I first got it I kept forgetting to take pictures… I wasn’t use to having a phone that took such quality snaps. I keep having to remind myself when I see something that I like… Oh yeah, I can take a picture of that. HOW FUN!
