Even though it’s been a couple of weeks since the last tour of our house, I haven’t had a chance to thank everyone (60 of you!) for coming and for your interest in modern architecture and our home in particular. Living in this house while trying to renovate has been a challenge, but so worth it. It was such a great surprise to see our home featured in Rice Design Alliance’s, Cite Magazine.

Overall, I try to focus on the fact that so many people love modern architecture and design and the groups that have toured our home understand and appreciate what we are trying to do. No, we’re not purists who are trying to keep EVERYTHING. If it won’t work for us, we have to change it, but for the most part we are trying to save this wonderful house for us and for those who love the era and the beautiful design, so it can be enjoyed for years to come. We love that you loved it and we thank you for your comments, questions, emails, and interest. Please check back as we complete more of our renovation.
